Adding a plugin to our database

Name/Description

In the first fields you will be asked for a name (preferrably the name if the PTC site the plugin works with) and a little description. You are allowed to encourage users to use your referral link in the description. You can add notes or andy info concerning your plugin to this page.

Plugin info

  • Plugin type : Select the corresponding clicker for your plugin
  • Current version : For easier management you can enter the version of your plugin here
  • Plugin status: Select between working, in development and broken (remember to update this later)

File

Select your file and upload it - easy ;)

Revision infomation

Leave it blank if you create a new plugin.

 

Editing and updating a plugin

This window looks the same as "Upload plugin" but if you update a plugin, you should keep this in mind:

The files window

Here you can see files, you have posted before. Its up to you if you want to delete old versions or keep them in that list. If you decide to keep a version history, remember to add versioning to your file names, too.

Revision infomation

 Very useful to track changes on your plugin and even on your page. Just add a few lines in that box, what you have changed (Example : "Updated plugin to 1.2" or "Changed plugin page").

You can get a list of all revisions made if you click "revisions" on top of the plugin page. Here you can view / delete them or revert your plugin page to that revision.
